Hey there! Welcome to RHQ!

A Little about RHQ

Welcome to Real Health Quest (what I lovingly refer to as RHQ). We are happy to have you!

RHQ actually started as a way for me to keep myself accountable in my own fitness journey. I had NO IDEA it would eventually grow into a business. I legit just wanted someone to tell me to put down the dang ice cream! RHQ has become a MOVEMENT, where people come together to work on their own health and fitness journey and encourage others to do the same.

We aren’t after cheap thrills here. Been there, done that (diet pills anyone?…no…how about the grapefruit diet?…no…maybe it was just me). Instead we are a community dedicated to putting in the work and the time it takes into building a long lasting, sustainable level of health and fitness. We believe in Real Food. We believe in consistent physical movement. We believe that you CAN have your cake and eat it too, because if you can’t do something until you are 90, there is NO POINT in doing it. We believe that we are STRONGER TOGETHER, and that community is vital to helping us reach our goals.

We are #teamRHQ

Meet Lacy

Hi! I am Lacy Pierce, founder of Real Health Quest. I am married to my college sweetheart, Mike, (going on 10+years), I am a mom to the most amazing little boy ever, and I am a bit of a dork (if you follow me on social, you know this).

As I mentioned I had no intention of launching a virtual health and fitness company. I didn’t have a fitness background at all. In fact, if you had asked me 10yrs ago if I would ever work in this space I would have laughed in your face. I am actually a finance girl, through and through. After I graduated with my MBA from Columbia Business School I worked on Wall Street as an equity analyst. It was my dream job! That is until I had a kiddo….The work was amazing!!! I met with CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, the top investment minds in the World (hello Warren!). I was seriously on top of the world. But the work was stressful and the hours long. And I mean long. I looked around me and saw that so many of the guys I worked with (yes, mainly men) had broken marriages, kids they never saw, cots they kept in their office for countless late nights. I knew that even though I loved it I couldn’t do it long term. So as soon as I found out that I was pregnant, it was time to pull the rip cord.

We moved back to Texas from NYC and started to intentionally design our life around this little kiddo that would turn us into a party of three. It was around this time that I was introduced to Beachbody and the Coaching Opportunity. At first I was completely skeptical. It took me years of work and hours in the gym to get back in shape after college. There was no way that at home workouts could get me the same results!!! But what had worked pre-kiddo was no longer an option post-kiddo. The gym hours no longer worked with his schedule and my work schedule. I was saddled with 40+lbs of baby weight and I was so self-conscious. It was either give it a try or do nothing….and frankly….I was desperate.

I decided to sign up for my first fitness camp and I was shocked with the results. The scale was moving in the right direction! I was feeling better than I had in months. And I was doing it from the comfort of my own home. On my own time. With COMPLETE FLEXIBILITY around my son. The nutrition plan was so easy to follow, I had more energy than I ever had, and I felt amazing. Here I was in my thirties, post kiddo, and in the best shape of my adult life. I was in love.

So when I found out there was a coaching opportunity where I could help people get the same results, I had to pay it forward. And that is exactly what we do here at RHQ.
