These brussesl sprouts are simply amazing. Even if you don’t like brussels, I would reserve judgement until you have tried these. They take all of 5 minutes to prep, are easy to make in a big batch, and they are OMG good. Seriously, I took these to Thanksgiving one year and they were the first thing to go and I had everyone asking for recipe. And frankly, it is just too good not to share….
1lb of brussels sprouts (go for fresh…frozen are never good IMO)
4 slices of bacon (cut into 1/2 in strips)
3Tbs maple syrup
2Tbs olive oil
1/4tsp ground black pepper
Slice brussels in half lengthwise. Place brussels sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, maple syrup, salt and pepper. Toss brussels to coat. Spread brussels on baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle bacon strips on top of the brussels. Bake for approx 40min at 400 degrees.
